Born 29 November 1979 in a small town in Sabah, Malaysia, Jessie is the second of four siblings. She moved to England in 2001 following her marriage to a mixed British and Malaysian national. A bilingual, she is also a proud mother to two beautiful daughters aged 15 and 13.

Jessie is currently a dance teacher, fitness instructor and personal trainer at PureGym Ltd. Her passion for dancing started when she was a child, which led her to dancing Salsa in 2007, performing in various dancing events. In 2011, she trained to be a Zumba instructor, teaching both adults and kids at her local schools, leisure centers, festivals and private parties. She joined PureGym as Zumba instructor three years ago, and has recently qualified as a personal trainer.

Being a talented all-rounder, Jessie was involved in organising various social events such as the Sabah Malaysian Harvest Festival, and Malaysian Carnival. She has choreographed many dance routines for both kids and adults in these events, as well as participating in them. She is the leader of the Kulintangan Dance Group, consisting of Sabahan dancers living in the UK, which aim is to promote the Sabah traditional dance and culture to U.K and Europe. She is very passionate about showcasing the best of her culture through dances to the world.
